In 1992 our founder was working for a prominent eye Doctor in San Diego County, Where he made and sold eyeglasses. He was encouraged to sell them for as much as he could, up selling add on warranties etc. He was very good at it we’ll that’s business right , But there was a big problem, How can we help the customer after the sale? Like if they got sat on bent , loose broken chewed on by the dog . So he started Hot Shots, the old men called him Hot Shot back then they didn’t ever remember his name. Anyway Hot Shots was all about servicing eyewear after it was sold to kept them working for a long time. Now days Hot Shots fixes glasses for everyone private people and professionals the shop still bears his name, and still has the same commitment and high standards that we had back then. I guess we are anachronistic that way.
